Jasmine Ashley

Jasmine Ashley is a fine arts educator, business owner, and Director of the Fine Arts Department at Northside Community Church. As the owner of JDM Fine Arts Academy, she has created a nurturing space where children are encouraged to grow in dance, music, and visual arts while building confidence and creativity.

With over 18 years of dance experience, Jasmine began her training at the age of four and started teaching at just 14 years old. From 2008 to 2015, she shared her passion by teaching in local elementary and middle schools while also serving as an instructor at I Am Dance Studio. Her performance background includes her role as Dorothy in John Beasley’s production of “The Wiz”.

Jasmine holds a bachelor’s degree in business and brings both leadership and creativity into every space she serves. Her love for the arts spans multiple disciplines—she has been singing since the age of two, acting since seven, and dancing since four. She is also a visual artist who has been creating since her early high school years, with a deep appreciation for all forms of creative expression.

Jasmine believes her gifts are God-given and is passionate about using them to serve others. She instills in her students the belief that their gifts will make room for them as they continue to grow, develop, and steward them well. Her mission is to inspire children to grow in confidence, creativity, and faith while boldly developing the talents God has placed within them.
